"You're so tense," he murmurs, digging in a little deeper with his thumbs, finding a knot and gently working it out.

"I want to do this again tonight before bed." It's not fully negotiable, his tone says.

"You know, I'm only watching Nibbles until K has his own place. I've never had a pet before. Most of the cats I've seen by now I ended up eating. ...Don't tell K that." He finds another knot. "But I'm going to miss having him around."
