He laughs and turns to him. "You burn the door down, you let the cat out. And then I'll spend all that time trying to find him instead of pulling your clothes off. Your pick."
Dragging his teeth over his bottom lip, he gives a rather serious hum of contemplation before he slips his hands out of his pockets and shrugs. "Well, I forget, I'll just sit outside the door naked."
Letting himself be tugged in, he grins right back and lets himself be nipped at, hands gently clutching at Jesus' arms. "I like when I do that." Hum on his lips, he steals a quick kiss or two before he takes his turn with nipping at Jesus' bottom lip. "What're you doing for either Christmas or New Years?"
He grins, nuzzling him, guiding him back into the house so he can kick the door shut with a little move of his foot. "No plans yet. Pick one. Tell me what you want to do."
Letting himself be guided, he huffs a laugh at how easy it is to convince Jesus to do something for either day and he gives a rather thoughtful look as he genuinely considers. "I mean... I was just gonna suggest we fuck on one of those days, but. If you wanna do something else, we can."
"Come over. First of January. We'll fuck, we'll eat, we'll fuck again." He'll likely come up with something else to do at the time, too, but he's never disappointed at the thought of having John's legs around him.
"What— no midnight kiss to ring in the new year?" Reaching out for the front of Jesus' pants, he pulls the other man in close to him, teasing him with a kiss but, not kissing him. Instead, he just smiles. "Cocktease."
"Maybe," word soft, he doesn't let Jesus have that kiss and, instead, turns his head some. "But at least I'd get to see you one last time if we all disappear."
It sobers him and he looks at John, searching his face, what he can see of him. "Then let's be together New Year's Eve. If the city has a party we won't go," so they won't end up drugged or separated. "We'll hang out here."
"Just us, and Nibbles, and whoever delivers our dinner." He can cook, but mostly stew, and he isn't sure he'll come up with a better menu before then. "Is that what you want? Or do you want to go out, the two of us?"
"I don't need fancy," it's said with a shake of his head. "Just you is enough... you've always been enough." The time they've spent together, while they've usually been inside — in one of their rooms, it's never been boring or not enough for him. Chalk it up to him not having had much to begin with.
There is a certain advantage in having been disadvantaged, both of them.
"I'm happy with just us." They've talked about going out to parties together, and he's open to it, but he won't complain a bit if it's just them at home, drawing or writing or fucking or talking.
"Guessing you want me to spend the night that night?" Brows raised, he lets his hands slip away from the other man's arms and, instead, come to rest at the small of his back, standing there with him and almost swaying a little as he does. "Maybe we should dance or something. I know I said I don't really, but. I could make an exception for you."
"Be a lot easier for me to bring you breakfast in bed if you're still in my bed in the morning," he agrees. And, with a little grin, "Yes, I want to dance with you."
Jesus has always been light on his feet, whether it's practicing jeet kune do and kicking walkers to death, or leaping out of a moving van, or just finding his way through simple dance steps. He likes how it feels to move and loves even more when he gets to move in tandem with someone else.
"Remember that time we slow danced in my room?" He laughs a little and it's genuinely warm as he ducks his head, hands sliding up along the curve of the other man's back. Somehow, they've been creating moments— memories with one another and he's not sure how or when that happened... but also can't bring himself to stop either.
Tilt of his head, he smiles a little. "You're gonna have to pick the music this time."
He steps back but he draws his hands along John's arms to his wrists to his fingertips and pulls him further into the room.
"Yeah I've been looking. It's hard here, everything's got lyrics and...well, you know how the lyrics go." All sex, all the time. "But I have a few songs I think we could make work."
"Not now," he chuckles. "Now I'm saving it for New Year's. I didn't know you'd be so willing to do it again. I got to use what you taught me, by the way--I dipped Rosita at a Thanksgiving party. She'll have to thank you for teaching me how to not drop her."
"So did I, but a few friends ran with it." And Jesus had cautiously accepted an invitation, fully expecting the usual fights and the usual stressors. "I hadn't been to one in years. Even before the world fell apart."
